AROMASIN 25 MG (EXEMESTANE) 30 COATED TABLETS IN BOX  is AROMAZIN. AROMAZINE belongs to a group of medicines known as aromatase inhibitors. These drugs influence the action of an enzyme called aromatase, which is necessary for the production of female sex hormones – estrogens, especially in post-menopausal women. Lowering estrogen levels in the body is a way to treat hormone-dependent breast cancer.

AROMASIN is also used to treat hormone-dependent advanced breast cancer in post-menopausal women, when other hormonal treatments have not produced sufficiently good results.

What AROMAZINE contains

The active substance is exemestane. Each film-coated tablet contains 25 mg exemestane.

The other ingredients are: colloidal hydrated silica, crospovidone, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate (type A), polysorbate 80, polyvinyl alcohol, simethicone, macrogol 6000, sucrose, para-carboxy, carboxy, carboxy of cetyl esters, talc, carnauba wax, ethyl alcohol, shellac, titanium oxides (E171) and iron oxides (E172).
